Red Wine

Freakshow Zinfandel

Freakshow Zinfandel is the third installment in the Freakshow lineup, following a Cabernet Sauvignon and a Red Blend. The Dazzling Fire Mistress pays homage to our roots in Lodi, a region known for exceptional Zinfandel. Typically known as a bold varietal, Freakshow Zin shows the softer, sexier side of Lodi Zin, focusing on the distinctive bright fruit and spice characteristics for which our heritage varietal is known. my tasting notes

This is the first Zinfandel I drank in my life. I had never been fascinated by California wine before.

The smoky and musty smell is good at the beginning, which is a solid "drinking" feeling. Low convergence, mellow and fairly easy to drink. I really like the various flavors that are clear. The taste is Strawberry, Raspberry, Cranberry, Dried fruits, Raisin, Nuts, Caramel, Woody, + Oak, + Smoke, Moss. I rarely drink the same wine, but when I tried to buy the same one in the shop, it wasn't there anymore. I'm thinking about buying all kinds of wines from "Michael David Winery" that make this wine too great in Japan ... (although it's a little pricey).

Cote de Nuits-Villages Vieilles Vignes

Dominique Laurent is a well-known producer who has succeeded as a Negosian due to his unique winemaking technology and his high connoisseurship. The wines that are commonly referred to as "200% new barrels" are all over the world, where the purchased wine is immediately transferred to a 100% new barrel Barrick, left to rest for half a year, and then transferred to another new barrel for aging.A blend of grapes from the village of Gevrey-Chambertin and the plot of Comblanchien, this wine pays homage to the farmers who are intimate with Dominique.
