Orange Wine

Giuaani

A winery run by the Giuashvili family in the village of Manavi in the Kaheti region, one of Georgia's leading wine-producing regions. It is a family-owned winery with a history of winemaking that has been involved in winemaking since ancient times so that the year of establishment is unknown. Current owner Kaha Giu His Ashville was one of the first to capture the era of Georgian wine's "incorporating new brewing techniques into traditional manufacturing methods" and founded Giuaani in 2010.
The 20ha field at high altitude adopts natural cultivation method, biologic farming method, de-stemming and crushed grapes are brewed at low temperature without using a press machine at the brewing stage, and fermented in tanks and Kvevri (unglazed jars). Aging and antioxidants are suppressed as much as possible.
Centered around staff in their 40s, we make various types of Georgian wine using techniques that harmonize tradition and innovation. Stable quality, outstanding cost performance, and even if it is not eccentric, it is a producer of attention from now on to produce wines that are calm and have the original taste of grapes. my tasting note

The first Georgian wine I drank in my life and the second wine in my life (the first was Chilean sparkling). I was attracted to the tea-like homeroom teacher and the slightly withered fruit taste.
